Special exhibition in the Bibelhaus Erlebnis Museum Frankfurt from February 4th to June 30th
Frankfurt am Main. The special exhibition “Treasures of the Bible House” shows more than 40 objects from two and a half millennia from February 4th to June 30th. The treasures of the Bible House range from the described shard to the Bible in the Guinness Book of Records. Ancient script fragments from Egypt are also part of it, as is the so-called Mandela Bible from South Africa from the time of the struggle against apartheid. You can discover the complete Bible on a microfiche the size of the palm of your hand, the longest Bible in the world with many interactive elements and the tiniest Bible in the world on a nano-chip.
It was an unforgettable event made possible by 500 volunteers. For the very first time the Wiedmann Bible was displayed in one piece in Magdeburg Germany over a distance of 1517 meter (almost 1 mile). At the very last minute we changed the route. The way along the Elbe added a beautiful scenery to the even which was not only the setting for our world record attempt but also gave us the opportunity to carry on the Wiedmann Bible’s mission: Engaging people worldwide with the Bible through illustrations.
Christo and Jean-Claude have done it and so did we. Well, we did not wrap the German Reichstag but the former birthplace of theWiedmann Bible.
The Gallery Wiedmann is now wrapped in the Book of Genesis. It has a total length of 330 feet. It gets even better. The trees in front of the building show even more images of this one of a kind artwork.
