Press presentation of the Wiedmann Bible The complete original of the longest painted Bible in the world will be presented by Martin Wiedmann on Thursday, February 6, 2 p.m. in the Bible House. The Bible House had already received a print version as a gift last year. Willy Wiedmann (1929 to 2014) worked on the picture bible for 16 years. This resulted in a total of 1.17 kilometers long fanfold that leads through the entire Old and New Testament. The artist painted them in the style of poly painting, which he developed himself in the 1960s. Martin Wiedmann found the work after his father’s death. In the meantime a printed edition, the “Wiedmann Bible ART-Edition”, has appeared, which shows the Bible in 3,333 pictures in two volumes.
